Reviewed December 2, 2015 (edited January 12, 2020)Nose - Sweet buttery creamed corn, creme brulee, butter, buttered roasted corn, did I mention sweet creamy BUTTER? Taste - Very smooth almost creamy mouthfeel, flavors are very subtle, brown butter, cloves, hint of chocolate, almost like a latte that has a hint of chocolate, or a mocha that has too much steamed milk Finish - medium long finish, slightly bitter, cinnamon emerges with a gradually warming spicy warmth. 79/100 -
Nose - Very floral, honeyed pears, golden raisins, lightly oaked chardonnay Taste - Initially very sweet, floral honey, goji berries, faint plum wine Finish - Relatively short finish that goes from floral/fruity notes, transitions to an initial light oaky/smoky honey/candied fruits that finishes on your tongue like you've just bitten into a plum pit. Not unpleasant but like a sweet slightly bitter finish. 90/100
